UAE E-Invoicing Deadline Calculator

Enter your annual revenue and see the exact date by which you must appoint an accredited service provider and the date your PINT-AE submissions must be live. Wave 1 (large business) hits first β€” 30 October 2026 appointment, 1 January 2027 go-live. Wave 2 (SMEs) follows in 2027.

Your VAT-registered turnover for the most recent full year.

Enter your revenue or select government to see your dates. Estimates are per Ministerial Decision 244/2025 as amended β€” verify with mof.gov.ae and a UAE tax agent before acting.

How the calculator classifies you

  • Wave 1 β€” VAT-registered businesses with annual revenue β‰₯ AED 50 million: appoint by 30 October 2026, go live 1 January 2027.
  • Wave 2 β€” VAT-registered businesses with annual revenue < AED 50 million: appoint by 31 March 2027, go live 1 July 2027.
  • Wave 3 β€” Federal and Emirate government entities: appoint by 31 March 2027, go live 1 October 2027.
  • Cite: Ministerial Decision 244 of 2025 as amended. Verify against mof.gov.ae before making a compliance decision.

How it works

  1. Select whether you're a private business or a government entity.
  2. If you're a business, enter your annual revenue in AED.
  3. See your two dates on the right β€” appointment deadline and go-live.
  4. Download the .ics calendar file so both dates appear in your work calendar with a reminder.
  5. Share the link with your CFO or accountant β€” the URL preserves your inputs so the same result opens for them.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as annual revenue for classification?+

The Ministerial Decision uses your VAT-registered turnover for the most recent full financial year. Use gross revenue before VAT. If you're a group, use the group's aggregated turnover as registered for VAT purposes. When in doubt, cite mof.gov.ae and consult a UAE-registered tax agent.

Do the dates change if I miss the appointment deadline?+

No β€” missing the appointment deadline does not slip your go-live date; it exposes you to Cabinet Decision 106/2025 penalties (AED 5,000 per month for non-implementation, plus per-invoice penalties). Try our penalty calculator to see the exposure.

What if my business is exempt from VAT?+

The current mandate applies to VAT-registered businesses in scope. Businesses under the VAT registration threshold are typically outside the mandate, but voluntary adoption is available and increasingly demanded by larger customers. Verify current scope at mof.gov.ae.

Is the .ics file safe to import into Google Calendar / Outlook?+

Yes. The file uses the standard RFC 5545 iCalendar format and contains only two date-only events (your appointment deadline and go-live). No personal data. It's generated in your browser β€” nothing is uploaded.

How is this different from just reading the mandate page?+

The mandate page lists all waves; this tool picks the one that applies to you and emits calendar-ready dates. If you already know your wave, the mandate page is enough; if you're delegating this to a busy CFO, the calculator + .ics is faster.
